I grew up racing in North Carolina with a simple sticker on my crossbar: “Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up.” My dad put it there. At the time I thought it was corny. Looking back, it was the whole blueprint.

I’ve lived the highs, factory rides, wins, a championship, and the lows that stop you in your tracks. What could’ve been the end became a turning point. I kept showing up, learned to separate noise from what actually makes you faster, and eventually found a second career testing at the highest level and coaching riders I believe in. That journey built Tickle Performance.

TP exists to help you become the rider, and person, you’re capable of being. Faith, discipline, and family anchor how I coach. Faith keeps perspective when results try to define you. Discipline is the work no one sees: early mornings, clean habits, details tightened up. Family is the “why”, the people you represent and the legacy you’re building every lap.

My approach is personal and precise. We don’t throw clichés at problems. We identify the one or two things that matter, then we get reps until they stick. Sometimes that means putting the lap timer away and chasing a feeling first, because when the feeling is right, the speed follows. You’ll get straight feedback on bike setup, lines, starts, and racecraft, plus accountability off the bike, sleep, nutrition, routines, the small choices that add up.

Access is everything. If we work together, you get me, on the phone, on Zoom, breaking down your video, and trackside when it counts. To protect that, I keep my roster small, max four riders. I want to know your goals, your tendencies, what gets you confident, and what pulls you out of it, so we can build something that lasts longer than one good weekend.

If you’re ready to work with intent, I’m ready to go to work with you. Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up.

Results reflect a rider’s full program and team; coaching contributions vary by season and circumstance.
